For as long as I can remember, I’ve had a camera in my hand and a story in my heart. Growing up in a family that believed in capturing everything — from Sunday dinners to summer picnics — I learned early on how powerful a photograph can be. Photos were never just pictures to us… they were proof of love, laughter, and life itself.
That love only grew as I got older. What started as a hobby with disposable cameras turned into an outlet for creativity, storytelling, and connection. I’ve always been drawn to the little moments — the way a mama looks at her baby, the sparkle in someone’s eyes when they laugh, the quiet in-between seconds that often go unnoticed but mean the most.
When I became a wife to my high-school sweetheart, Isaac, and later a mama to our miracle boy, Rowan, photography took on a whole new meaning. Motherhood has a way of slowing you down and speeding time up all at once. Watching Rowan grow, I realized just how fleeting each stage of life is — and how precious it is to have those moments preserved forever.
