There’s something undeniably special about a February wedding—the quiet, slower pace of the season, the softness in the air, and the way love seems to take center stage without distraction. This beautiful micro wedding at Little Chapel Events in Saint Albans, West Virginia was exactly that… intimate, intentional, and overflowing with love you could truly feel.
From the moment I arrived, there was a calmness to the day. No rush, no chaos—just two people, completely wrapped up in each other, ready to begin forever.
The details were simple and elegant. Soft white florals, fresh greenery, and timeless touches created a space that felt both romantic and natural—perfectly reflecting their love for the outdoors. Even inside the chapel, you could feel that connection to nature woven into every part of their day.
And then there was them.
The way they looked at each other… it wasn’t just love—it was comfort, friendship, and something deeply rooted. The kind of love that doesn’t need to be loud to be powerful. It was in the quiet smiles, the gentle touches, and the way they leaned into each other like home.
Their ceremony was intimate and heartfelt, surrounded by their closest people. Every moment felt meaningful. Every word carried weight. And when they shared their first kiss as husband and wife, it felt like the entire room softened around them.
One of my favorite parts of the day was watching them just be together. Laughing, holding each other close, stealing little moments in between everything else. It’s those in-between moments—the real, unscripted ones—that tell the most beautiful story.
Even in the middle of winter, their love brought so much warmth to the day. It was effortless, genuine, and deeply felt by everyone in the room.
This is why I love micro weddings.
Because when everything is stripped back, what’s left is what matters most… the connection, the emotion, and the beginning of something forever.
To these two—thank you for letting me be part of your day. Your love is something truly special, and it was an honor to capture it.
