Fall Family Session

This sweet family session in Kanawha State Forest was everything I love about fall photography — soft golden light, warm colors, and genuine connection.

Mom and Dad showed up with their beautiful crew. There was such an easy, natural energy between them. You could just feel the love and closeness they share.

The older kids were patient and playful, helping keep baby brother smiling and laughing while we captured some unforgettable moments. I love when sessions flow naturally like this — no pressure, just a family enjoying time together surrounded by the beauty of West Virginia’s fall colors.

The forest was quiet, with leaves just starting to change and crunch underfoot. Between the laughter, the little in-between moments, and the way the baby looked at his mom and dad — it was pure magic.
